This is a small replica of the amazing Goddess Athena in the Parthenon, Nashville, TN.

Inside the Parthenon in Nashville, TN, you’ll find an amazing representation of the Greek Goddess of Wisdom known as Athena.

The impressive replication piece towers above at almost 42 feet tall, leaving only about 12 inches between the top of her crown and the ceiling. Weighing about 12,000 lbs, the figure is the biggest inside sculpture in the Western world and is a recreation of the original Greek masterpiece.

The base of the Athena statue has a crack because a part broke off during a move. It was glued and you can only see the glued area when looking at the Athena statue from above. Nevertheless, I would like to point this out and also add more photos, where you can see the glued area on the base in a close-up.

Der Sockel der Athena Statue hat einen Sprung, da bei einem Umzug leider ein Teil abgebrochen ist. Es wurde geklebt und man sieht die Klebestelle nur, wenn man die Athena Statue von oben ansieht. Dennoch möchte ich darauf hinweisen und ergänze auch die Photos, wo man die Klebestelle am Sockel in Nahaufnahme sehen kann.
